Year 2 Only
As part of our Year 2 history topic, we are excited to be organising a Titanic Day on Wednesday 13th May. The children will take part in a range of engaging activities linked to their learning about this historic event.
We would like to invite you to join us for the first hour of the day, from 8:45–9:45am. During this time, you will have the opportunity to take part in activities such as learning Morse code, helping to design an “unsinkable” LEGO boat, and exploring the history of the Titanic alongside the children.
On the day, we would love the children to come dressed as passengers from the famous ship. Suggested outfits include a white shirt, school trousers or skirt, a waistcoat, and a flat cap (if available). Alternatively, as holders of a first-class ticket, children may choose to wear a smart or formal outfit such as a suit or a posh dress.
If you have any questions about the day, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Yours sincerely,
Ms Laurie and Mrs Shearn
