Eid al-Fitr 2026

School is advised that the likely date for Eid al-Fitr will be Friday 20th March 2026. In line with guidance to schools on attendance, school allows one day absence for Eid. School needs to fulfil its safeguarding duty and needs to know which students will be absent and for what reason. We hope parents will understand that we must never make assumptions about the reason for an absence and will always require notification from parents, including for Eid.
