Pupil Premium (Free School Meals)

If you claim Income Support, Universal Credit or are on a low income, your child may be eligible for Free School Meals. Benefits include:

• Free school meals for your child regardless of what year they are in
• Access to Free breakfast club
• Free access to all after school clubs
• Subsidised school visits including residentials
• School will receive additional funds for teaching and learning

Applying is easy and all online. You do not need to send in any documentation. All you need is your address, National Insurance number and dates of birth for people living in your household. You will receive an instant response. If you are unsure as to how to do this, contact the office who are more than happy to help you to carry out this process with you. You can apply yourself using an online form.

If you are already in receipt of Free School Meal Benefit for any of your children, please ensure any younger siblings are added too, again if you need help with this contact the school office. It is important to note that even if your child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receives the Universal free school meals paid for the Government, you can still apply for this as it brings much needed additional money in to school.
